UBS raised its price targets on two top ag plays this morning: Potash Corp. (NYSE: POT) and Agrium (NYSE: AGU).

The firm raised its price target on Potash from $285 to $320. Notably, on June 24, UBS raised its price target on Potash from $250 to $285.

UBS's target on Agrium goes from $118 to $130. On June 11, the firm raised its price target on the stock from $95 to $118.

With shares of Potash trading up about $1.93, or 0.91%, to $215.15 in pre-market trading, the UBS price target represents a potential gain of more than 48% from current levels. Also, based on Agrium's price of $97.61 this morning, up $3.00, or about 3.2% from yesterday's close, UBS believes the stock could move about 33% higher from current levels.

RIO!

from yesterday....

Additionally, Goldman Sachs upgraded Vale this morning from Neutral to Buy and set a $42 price target, saying valuation has fallen too much and that the company will outperform its peers.

I also like AGU, especially if you're ok with holding for awhile if things don't pan out as expected. AG-sector due to rise!
