BOTD, one of my call options is expiring this month, when i bought the volume was good but the market went to shit, the open interest is around 8000 but the volume has now gone to 0? how do i get rid of this, its worth $250 bucks, i do not want to buy the shares...
any ideas?

It goes to zero if there are no buyers and will not be executed if it's out of the money
The volume should pick up as you get closer to expiration, usually a lot heavier on the volume side the week of expiry. if you don't mind me asking whats the call on it?

My feeling is somewhere between 5200-6200.
