Deutsche Boerse plans to offer $2.8 billion to buy International Securities Exchange (ISE) to expand in fast-growing options trading, the German exchange operator said on Monday.
The cash deal would value New York-based ISE at $67.50 a share, a near-50 percent premium to ISE's closing price of $45.72 on Friday.
